LIFE DRAWING
LIFE DRAWING
Drawing is seen as an important basis for much of our activity. We encourage this with regular life drawing sessions. These are not taught sessions but are run by the participants. They take the form of three hour sessions with a break of half an hour in the middle. A range of good experienced models are used. As the studio was once a dance studio it has the added advantage of large mirrors along two walls, which can add considerable interest to the poses.

There is no need to book you can just turn up
Swansea Print Workshop runs regular courses and workshops for people at all levels, from the complete beginner to the professional artist or practised printmaker. We also stage occasional drawing events which lead directly to a print process.
Paper can be bought from the studio but you need to bring your own drawing materials
An exhibiting group and a drawing group have formed from the life drawing participants.
