Resumé: Final Report from Swansea Print Workshop: We regard the support from the Foundation as having been a vital catalyst in moving the organisation forward in very significant ways.
We are confident that we have exploited the full value of the Award for the benefit of artists and their community. Sameera Khan was in post for the full three years of the award. She achieved a significant increase in our regular users, introduced new techniques and established standards of work practice condusive to the ethos of the organisation. Her hard work and dedication made a significant impact on the professional profile of the studio. The aim of the project was not just to increase the numbers using the studio, but to provide individuals with opportunities for progression and personal development. This has been carried out through a programme of regular workshops, one to one tuition, open access opportunities, masterclasses, lectures and printmakers forums. Additionally the studio provides a platform for a great deal of informal exchange of information. The regular presence of a studio manager promoted:
