More information on the project and artwork can be seen in the FMC archive

Swansea Print Workshop (SPW) set up a special printmaking programme under the banner of the Festival of Muslim Culture UK 2006 inspired by the belief that the arts can play a role in changing society for the better by enabling people to enter into the experiences of others.

Contemporary Pakistani Printmakers Exhibition

As part of our year long programme a touring exhibition was organised: Contemporary Pakistani Printmakers, which began at Oriel Ceri Richards, Swansea from 14 January to 4 February 2006.

Supporting the Contemporary Pakistani Printmakers exhibition is a tri-lingual exhibition catalogue, which is published in English, Welsh and Urdu. Detail Sarah Hopkins Sameera Khan Truck screenprint

The exhibition and supporting material provided a specially appointed Outreach Team with a resource for teaching, informing local children, students and community groups about contemporary approaches to printmaking under the theme of 'Image and Symbol and Text'.

The comprehensive project website is not longer online, however, an archive version is included here.
