ALL WALES ETHNIC MINORITY ASSOCIATION

2007: The EQUAL Project took place between January and December 2007 at Swansea Print Workshop in partnership with AWEMA and within the framework of Curiad Calon Cymru Development Partnership. Under the Empowering Communities cluster, a  printmaking programme was designed to promote learning through the medium of fine art printmaking.

£2,300 plus part time project officer post.

 

Swansea Print Workshop also contributed an intensive training programme for Aleem dad Khan from its own resources through the support and supervision of the Studio Manager, Sameera Khan.

2006: A contribution of £1200 towards the sum of £4,200 for a feasibility study in Pakistan. to conduct feasibility of Contemporary Welsh Printmakers touring exhibition in conjunction with Wales Arts International:

 
Sarah Hopkins and Sameera Khan visiting Schools and colleges in Pakistan

The purpose of the study was to outline the potential for developing a mutual understanding of Welsh and Pakistani cultures through the medium of printmaking as an art form between artists from the respective countries.

2006: Tri lingual catalogue for outreach project with Contemporary Welsh Printmakers, Multiculturism through Art. £4,000
