FUNDING Our funding has come from a variety of sources which have supplemented earned income from workshops, print auctions and in service training. As a not for profit company limited by guarantee, Companies House No: 4078671 our accounts are published annually and are available for members scrutiny in the studio. All profits are re-invested in the studio and its activities The Arts Council of Wales has been our most consistent funder from the setting up of the workshop in 1998. This was originally done with private money from the founder members, Jackie Ford and Alan Williams. (A-Z) |

Through the auspices of the Artes Mundi trustees, and a collaboration with AWEMA we were able to mount printmaking workshops in Swansea and bring artist Aleem Dad Khan from Pakistan to work on the project in November 2006. All Wales Ethnic Minority Association 2006: Tri-lingual catalogue for Contemporary Welsh Printmakers and Promoting Multiculturism through Art: £4,000 2006: A contribution of £1200 towards the sum of £4,200 for a feasibility study in Pakistan. The purpose of the study was to outline the potential for developing a mutual understanding of Welsh and Pakistani cultures through the medium of printmaking as an art form between artists from the respective countries. |
