This site is currently under development. Thanks for your patience. It will soon be up and running with many more features.
We are just starting to build up the Gallery section so this is incomplete, but all the information about our workshops and other activities is current.
Contact Swansea Print Workshop
Swansea Print Workshop (SPW) is a fine art printmaking studio, run by a group of artists.
Swansea Print Workshop offers printmaking facilities and services to professional artists, as well as promoting community participation in the arts.

We produce original prints entirely by hand, the printmaking processes used include: linocut, woodcut, screenprinting, etching, aquatint, drypoint, collagraph and cyanotype. We also have photographic and digital facilities that contribute to printmaking processes such as photoscreenprint and photoetch.
Swansea Print Workshop provides a hub for fine art printmaking in South Wales. It is a focus for contemporary print and a regional centre of excellence. All those who use our facilities or attend courses benefit from a wide range of access to facilities and opportunities to share and develop their creativity. Our members, and the professional artists who use the workshop, have both a broad and in depth, knowledge and range of expertise and experience.

As a community arts provider, training and workshops are delivered to a wide range of ages, experience and abilities; from masterclasses for professional artists and inset training for teachers, to workshops for primary schools.
We curate exhibitions and develop international exchange projects; and also sell original prints on behalf of our members, associates and visiting artists.
We run courses and workshops for all levels, from the complete beginner to professional artist. The aim of these workshops is to help you be confident and self-sufficient as an artist at whatever level you choose.

Prints
We have a range of prints for sale. These are all original, signed art works. As a print is usually associated with limited editions, it means that the art work can be offered at an affordable price.
All these processes offer exciting possibilities for image making. Whatever sort of approach you may have, there will be a process that offers interesting developments for personal work.
We also offer individual tuition on a one to one basis. Whether you are a complete beginner or a professional artist, we have a course to suit.

Why not become a member and benefit from access to the facilities, expertise and support available through the workshop. This will also help support our activities and contribute towards the long term future of the studio as a regional resource. We aim to provide a shop window for Welsh Printmakers and a centre of excellence for printmaking practice.
We are a not for profit organisation which means that any money we make goes straight back into the organisation to support our activities. All course prices are subsidised through the support of a range of funding bodies.
